Monday, October 6th (yesterday) was my 57th Birthday (but I don't feel a day over 56).
Just a quick note to thank everyone for the birthday greetings and well wishes!
I'm still fighting a nagging cold after 3 weeks now. Not sure if it was brought on by my flu shot last week, the weather, the chemo meds or just my weakened immune system?,

Hi Mikey, I made it. On the Blog and everything- I hope. Either that or I am on the laptop screen of a beautiful blonde bombshell name Icen. Happy belated birthday my friend. I didn't think you were past 51. Oh well, it's a number. I read some of your Blog and found it interesting. To listen to the politicians always in the press or the TV and in contrast read what you write in this Blog, Obama has nothing on you, except for some fancy Harvard thing. It's just paper. You have much courage and you should know that there are others out there that are helped by your words. To some this is simply a nice blog to view what's new with you. To some, it is another lifeline. And you know how important those are. The world needs more of them and people like you. Original, Unique, Caring.
